perfect breakfast and fab food selection. location short walk to kept in excellent condition, the river running at the bottom of the grounds and the centre of the bathroom.

The location minutes from city centre was lovely and nice. The double room was huge, included a coffee/tea maker, multi-channel television, and a sitting area. Everyone working at this great relaxing and romantic hotel was very very helpful!

River. The check-in process took too long, frustrating after a long journey. The breakfast selection was good, but I would prefer fresher juice options instead of the reconstituted kind offered.

The location was somewhat nice, but it's overshadowed by the awful breakfast and unwelcoming staff. We had cold rooms, and creaky floors that definitely didn't add charm. I nearly wrote a glowing review, but with the lack of any complimentary gestures for these inconveniences, i just couldn't recommend it.

The fine gardens, lovely terraces, and the serene river setting create a picturesque atmosphere. My beautiful double room was large and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom for a relaxing stay. Each morning, I enjoyed an excellent breakfast prepared with fresh ingredients, setting a positive tone for my day.

The kids loved running around in the backyard after breakfast, delicious. Plus, the powerful shower in our room was a wonderful way to unwind after our long drive.

My kids wished for more fun activities for them onsite.

I noticed some issues. The hallway had an unusual smell, likely due to the age of the hotel. I still appreciated the great location overlooking the river, but the furniture could use some updates, and some dead flies were noticeable in the corners. The service during dinner felt a bit remote, with staff not approaching us for drink orders. A more attentive approach would enhance the dining experience significantly. I had to wait longer than expected for my order, and the atmosphere felt somewhat disorganized.

I had a lovely stay with my wife, enjoying the delicious brunch and the stunning grounds, although the bed could use an upgrade. I'd love to return!
